Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS)[Science Stream Jobs List With Salary In India]

It is a cadre of the GOI. The officers in this service are the procurement and logistics specialists, contract managers of the IR, providers of logistics for the transportation of material from and within various railways as well as the planners and maintainers of the intelligent warehousing with automated storage and retrieval systems on the Indian Railways.

Qualifications & Other Criteria

• A degree from any recognised university.

• Candidates must be within 21-29 years of age

• Candidates must be a citizen of India or, if of any other nationality, must be

of Indian origin

• The direct recruitment is done through the Indian Engineering Services

Examination conducted by the UPSC.
